<BR>i think the mushroom shown in the first pic is Amanita verna. I have found
<BR>it once near Karlsruhe in July 2000 (a very wet and cool month following a hot June). The main
<BR>difference compared to white forms of A. phalloides is the absence of
<BR>the sickingly sweet smell.
