<P>Geastrum ambiguum is not in Index Fungorum and I did not find much on the web about it. I did find a Mushroom Observer article at <A HREF="http://mushroomobserver.org/name/show_name/17747" TARGET="_blank">http://mushroomobserver.org/name/show_name/17747</A> which said it is a synonym of G. campestre; is that right? It does have a stalk, but only 1mm high. Do you have G. campestre in your collection of familiar fungi?
