Thanks for your identification. I don't wish to hijack this thread for the English language - I can understand German, and even write it after a fashion. Still, it's easier to answer in English.

Geastrum ambiguum is not in Index Fungorum and I did not find much on the web about it. I did find a Mushroom Observer article at http://mushroomobserver.org/name/show_name/17747 which said it is a synonym of G. campestre; is that right? It does have a stalk, but only 1mm high. Do you have G. campestre in your collection of familiar fungi?
