Guten Morgen zusammen,

ihr liegt alle daneben *gg* - ich zitiere aus der geänderten Beschreibung des Artikels:

Edit – I had not thought it necessary to provide more information than is listed to facilitate a clear identification, but a couple of people have confused this truffle with a kartoffelbovisten. To these people I ask, not to trust us, but to look for more than one second at the pictures and information provided. The small hole, about 4mm deep, you can see on the surface is from a slug, and is not consistent with a kartoffelbovisten which has released its spores.

This truffle does not have spots, but cracks, this is very clear in the photo. Furthermore, although we would like one, we do not have a dog, this truffle was found using my nose alone! You cannot find a kartoffelbovisten with your nose! Kartoffelbovisten smell faintly of gas and nothing like cheese, even when they are old.

Gruß, Andreas
